James founded M Launch Strategies in 2013, when he began representing multiple start-ups in the food-tech bubble of 2014 to the City of San Francisco, including Sprig and Caviar, amongst many others. Merging his tech-law practice with lobbying and consulting, M-Launch Strategies was born. Since then James has worked in-house at four silicon-valley based transportation tech companies respectively launching each of their government affairs departments, while also maintaining M-Launch’s clients.

James has passed state and local laws in 50+ jurisdictions. His legal practice includes legislative law, startup and tech law. James currently also serves as outside general counsel to a successful restaurant chain and a software company.

James lives in San Francisco with his Irish Setter, Rupert, and holds a JD from UC Hastings and a BA in political science from UC Berkeley.

Mark joined M Launch Strategies in 2017, where he has represented small and medium size businesses, tech companies, and transportation companies on a variety of matters involving local and state government relations, procurement, and legislative matters. During his tenure, Mark has successfully created and implemented strategies for passing legislation and ordinances at the state and local levels of government, drafted proposals to win permits and government contracts, and expanded business opportunities for his clients.

Mark also represents high net worth individuals and celebrities in complicated family law and general civil litigation matters. Before joining M-Launch Strategies, Mark served as General Counsel and Head of Business Development for ProSolutions Software, Inc. for which he currently serves as outside general counsel. 

Mark lives in Los Angeles and holds a JD from UC Hastings, and a BA in political science from CSU Northridge, has 3 kids, and just celebrated 10 years of marriage with his college sweetheart.
